Lorry Driver Guilty

As subject. 6 points, 500 fine and 200 costs and told by the judge "far
from trying to blame Mr Wegg, you should be apologising to him for your
disgraceful driving".

The Judge was close to banning him but as he is self employed, sole
breadwinner blah blah blah. But as he already had 3 points (speeding)
he's one offence off a ban.

Let the fight for damages commence!

I are mostly feeling very relieved that it's decided.
Congrats.

Nice result.
Good news :)
Good news. If you're still using Patrick, he ought to be able to get you
a very good damages sum.
Sure are. He's also (or at least his lad is, doing the litigation on my
brother's collased garage...
What happened here, then? Cowboy builder? Neighbour doing some
over-enthusiastic digging? Council drain fell in?
Cowboy builder. It was built about 4 years ago - bro's spec was for a
slightly oversize garage, about half as wide & long as a normal garage,
but left the exact design etc to the local builder (actually a
neighbour, 3 or 4 houses along). It fell down about a year ago - the
day before a roof beam cracked, the builder came round and said the roof
needed to be strengthened, the next day it collapsed as in walls came
tumbling down. The surveyors report says that the structure was
inadequate to support the pitched roof which "spread" the walls.
However cowboy builder has been playing fast & loose and refusing to
accept liability and now that court is looming has finally engaged a
solicitor and is throwing lies hoing that some will stick. I expect
Patrick & his firm will win through but it's getting nasty.
Sounds like the same one the Scottish Gov used. My sympathies. Didn't
happen to use a Spanish architect as well did he?

What are you going to buy?
I want a ZXR750L. But there's no garage vaccuum _at all_... :-(
Heh, I could find room here for you.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!

I also want a Morris Traveller (always wanted one) and I've just been
offered garage space for one of those too.
Morris Traveller to Morris Dancing in one easy move.
Top Tip: Take care not to fall through the windscreen

I'll get me coat....
I had one of those a few years back.

Father in law had an empty industrial unit at the time, so I was able to
strip it, rebuild it and paint it in luxury.

Cracking litle car it was.
Good effort, well done. Now don't forget about the almost constant and
unprovable headaches ;-)
and the lack of confidence when driving.
...and the inability to ride sports bikes any more....
could you ever? :-) :-) ;-)
