Direct Access near Ascot..

Anyone got anyone theyd recomend in that neck of the woods?..
A bit more distant, but I (and others I know) can recommend 1st Gear in
Farnborough, Hants - got my g/f through direct access in 4 days! Admittedly,
she used to have a trail bike in her teens (a "few" years ago now) and had a
couple of years' pillion riding before she went to do it. A nice bunch of
blokes, put you at ease - the course is quite intense, but they make it fun.
They do a sort of free assessment on a Sunday to judge how much training
you'll need, and after the test they're still happy to give advice. They do
days out for returning riders too (eg if you last rode in the 70's or 80's)
as refresher courses if you need 'em.

Can't recommend as I have no experience of them but they are local.
