hitch for a scoot

i'm making up a trailer to tow behind our scooter (it's mainly for the dog,
sacrilege !!!
Just tell her to sit on the pillion. :-)

going somewhere south in europe soon, can't leave her in the motorhome all
day whilst we go out on the scoot, but also for groceries, hauling my
inflatable canoe plus lceky outboard and battery and all manner of other
things i'm sure)

I've made up the towbar on the scooter, pretty simple once i figured out
which bits of the plastic to cut for clearance on the mudguard liner, used
2mm thick 1 inch box, should be strong enough for a load not over 50
kilo's... dog plus trailer,

Anyway, not decided on the hitch arangement yet, was origionaly going to
make one up, sort of like a mini jaw type coupling, but now i've made the
tow bar framework, i could easily put a standard 50mm car type tow ball on
it,

Is there a mini hitch for bike towed trailers? do these farm quads just use
a standard car ball coupling? i know about accounting for the lean of the
bike, the drawbar of the trailer will have a 360 degree swivel joint in it.
Designing a trailer whihc doesn't ruin the handling isn't easy.

For personal use, you could "borrow the technology" :-)
