OT: non-delivery of order - advice sought

I'd appreciate some advice on the following.

I placed an order with abbeypowertools.co.uk some time ago for about
£100 of kit, and to cut a long story short it was supposedly dispatched
by first class post on February 12. I am yet to receive the goods. There
is no response from their email contact addresses (including one which
has responded in the past), and their only listed phone number is an
0845 that doesn't seem to be reachable from overseas (I live in France).
post us the telephone number and we can try it for you for a start
That is beyond the call of duty, but I'm not going to turn down an offer
like that:

0845 124 9410
searching the web that phone no. gave me Abbey's website which mentions the family
garden machinery business.

Using Yell.com I've got 3 of their addresses in Plymouth:
Of course: yell. Thanks.

Beautiful - goes to voicemail every time, and seems to accept messages
about 10 seconds long. Am beginning to suspect they've gone bust. Grrrr.

If you can extract a geographical number from them that I can call from
overseas, that would be great. I'll try and find some way of organising
beer tokens for you.

Thanks for the suggestions to call my credit card company: I paid with a
VISA debit card. I'll check out their terms and conditions etc.
Considering the hassle I had placing the order in the first place, I
should have seen the warning signs and steered well clear. Hindsight....

Recommendations for action gladly received (even if it's "why don't you
xyz, you ignorant ....).
Call your credit card company.
