Loonies

This is a couple of Laura's friends playing the South Park version of
At least it'll keep them out of the gene pool.
Weird work meeting moments no 107, this morning at 11 (I kid you not, on
my eyes):

1. Sit down to Checkpoint meeting with new supplier PM and 10 others.

2. New PM says "I hear you're a biker"

3. Exchange pleasantries.

4. Talk about Desmo Due series.

5. Say "I have a mate who does that, they're a really friendly club".

6. Be told "That's cool, I went along one time last year to meet one of
them, as a net stalker and reader of his web site".

7. Say "They're a really nice bunch, I fancy a bash myself if I'm in
this job this time next year ... I don't know most of them, but my mate
is ...

8. Hear "That's him! That's the chap!"

FWIW he appears a decent enough PM :)

What was double funny was that the meeting got held up for a few mins as
we rattled on ... it was only when the main supplier PM (a nice enough
chap) coughed and said "if we could finish up talking about bikes now
..." that we realised everyone was looking at us in a funny way.

Swear it's true; if you email "Ben" he'll confirm it :)
Heh, small world!
Isn't it just.

Yeah, he emailed me a few times as he'd been on the DSC
site and read some of the website. He turned up at Brands
last year I think, or maybe the year before. Haven't seen
him since then.
Well he's giving serious consideration to the idea of racing in the same
series. I said he should pop along again and say hi.

Roshambo...
'kin excellent!
My first few web-search hits on Roshambo were confusing...

But - why would you *do* that?
Apparently they were trying to decide whose turn it was to buy the next
packet of cigarettes.
"All red armbands out of the gene pool in 1 minute please"
Ha. Nice.
Natural selection in action.
