What you're quoting doesn't state whether it's the date of the
offence, or the date of conviction. Like Ace, I know that it's the
date of conviction.

conviction. The countdown for removal from the licence started from

the date of conviction, which is when the offence was recorded and
endorsed on my licence - there were two dates actually written on the
licence - offence and conviction. They took the latter, natch.

not that they made it onto your licence but they're now not applicable
to mine :o)
