Mallory

Anyone from here doing Mallory with No Limits on the 10th May? Me and a a
mate are going - feeling brave and opted for the inters but am fully
expecting to be bumped down a group :)
Yes, looking to book this one up. I'll go in for the
inters unless they force me into the fast group.
Now booked :-D

Look for the silver Ducati #111.
Novice group = Slow and a bit dangerous because people are novices.
Fast Group = Racing with lots of stoppages due to crashes.
Inter Group = sensible and quick = more track time.
Thanks for the info. It's nice to have the view of someone who knows :) I
was a little worried as I've only done 2 trackdays and my bike isn't fast
down the straights. On those 2 though I found I was getting frustrated
tripping over people through the bends in the Novice group. I figured in the
inters I'll still get people hurtling past me down the straights but
hopefully not causing me problems thereafter.
I might be, all depends if my evil plans come together. Whatever happens
I'll be there helping Danny the instructor.
^^^^^^

Ha ha! What an excellent day watching you clowns
sliding the bikes in just about every corner and
showing up some of the much bigger bikes round
the bends as well.

I was quite surprised by the number of motards that
were out there, tbh.

All good fun though, especially when mine died after
6 laps on the first session out and I had to sit on the
banking and watch at the exit from Gerrards. I'd managed
to trap the battery connector between the tank and
the frame, crushing the plastic, and the connectors eventually
rattled loose and I lost all power. Luckily I had spares and
was out the next session, just in time for some numpty
in the "advanced" group to dump oil half way round
Gerrards, through Edwinas and round to the pit entry.

But even the rain didn't put me off and I now know my
way round there quite well. Roll on the race on the 20th.
Best of luck with that.
