OT: FOAK: Music search

Right, you lot, here we go again.

I'm looking for a decent recording of "Nkosi Sikelel'i Afrika".
iTunes music store has several versions.
I thought I was gonna be all helpful, but this tape by Ladysmith Black
Mamabazo hasn't got it.
Whereas I need an instrumental version of "Everything I am"
But I have a CD of LBM doing it, so it is available.

I've found a few, but they all seem... overproduced.

I want one that catches the beauty of the music, without loads of
twiddly bits. A capella, I think. And *definitely* not mixed with
another track to pad it out.

Anyone got a favourite?
I prefer the "Stand and sing for Zambia" version myself.

KK had a good voice and he was an expert hanky waver too while singing
Tiende Pamodzi
Die Stem ?

As we're on record hunting terms - anyone got a copy of Kenny
Everett's World's Worst Record Show? K-Tel.
In the back of a cupboard somewhere I've got the single of "I Want My Baby Back",
which was number one. I think I'll dig it up and have a play....
Blue ones. I have always liked records and stuff with blue covers. If
ever I am round someone's house and they ask if I want to hear anything
from their collection I usually say something like I'll have the third
blue one from the left on the top shelf. It is odd how most folks react
to this. There you are effectively asking them to take a cd at random
and they often put up a spirited resistance until they actually pull the
thing out and find out what it is and suddenly remember that they
actually quite like it and haven't listened to it in years. Most weird
are folks.
