RBR - For those that are interested ...
|
... my piccies are on my flickr site.
|
Hmm - my Standage Tunnel is a canal, yours is Standish railway tunnel . . .
. .who's right folks ?
|
Hmm dunno, I got the canal bit by the visitor centre.
Although a couple of the ones I was unsure about match SD's.
FWIW the Redgrave statue is no longer there - it was vandalised and
has been removed.
So where was the first lime kiln for 74 then? I found the biggies and
the one on the opposite side of the road down that track but couldn't
find a third.

& I've got a different preaching cross, have to let D the D sort it out.
On the other hand, you get that 'wing into the most naughty of places to
take your photos.

I assume it is compulsory for you to get the bike and / or the little
sign into every picture?
|
It is. Proof, and all that.
|
How much blutak did you use trying to stick the sign to various walls,
fences and gates?
|
About half a pack, overall.
|
|
Sticking the sign inside the helmet visor or using a FOAD bulldog clip
are other solutions.

It can't find you.

Now book your holiday to the Brecon Basin where you will contribute to my
local economy. They even have a jazz festival so you can feel at home.
|
Sorry, we're off to Hawaii. Looks nice though, maybe in future.
|
I fully understand. I can imagine why you feel sorry about a holiday to
somewhere like Hawaii. Under the thumb, I presume?
All that "close community" in breeding. The risk of tsunami. It's part of
merkania.
Makes Mid-Wales seem idyllic.

Very nice. Some of the landmarks seem very obscure, but
then I guess that is the point - to get you out there and
travel the country, taking in the finer points of our history.
|
You gotta find 'em, first. They're even more obscure if you take
Dave's spelling at face value.
|
Its certainly something I'd like to do one day, when I'm
grey and old...
