A worried dad...
|
Youngest son Mike has done his CBT today in Worksop - about
15 miles away.
I left him with strict instructions to call me when he'd
finish and I would go over and meet him and follow him home
to make sure he
a) didn't get lost
b) didn't 'do an Ace' ;^)
Just phoned Streetwise, and he's finished, and set off for
home over 1/2 hour ago.......
|
But did he pass?
|
You can't fail - Compulsory Basic *Training*, d'ye see?
|
Oh yes you can - if the instructors are not happy with your car park
stuff, they'll not let you out on the roads, therefore no CBT is awarded.
|
There is no pass/fail though. You get a certificate when you have completed
the training. There is a time limit, 8 hours IIRC, for the first period of
training. If you have not completed all of the 5 elements in that time then
you must return at a later date and pay an additional fee.

If it's any help, I planned to go straight home after mine... 15 miles
home took around 3 hours :)

|
E's back....
And gone out again..... ;^)
