WSB races at San Marino, sucked bigtime=(Ducati already dominates so why alow 1200cc in 08)

The subjest line says it all. Why does Ducati need 1200cc when they
can dominate the series with only 1 liter sized engines? I'm tired of
hearing the BS about them having to use more expensive parts to win
when their street fare has nowhere near the RWHP that their race bikes
do. This is not really the case with the Japanese big 4, where a stock
showroom bike has 160-165RWHP & the WSB version is about 200 or a big
disparity compared to the very expensive Ducati 999R at MAYBE
135-140RWHP for their street stock bikes and over 200 for WSB's.

Face facts folks, the I4 WSB's are hobbled with intake restrictors
while their Japanese counterparts race more fairly. While watching
these WSB races today it struck me that this is almost like watching
US NASCAR racing with the same old faces Corsa, Haga & Biaggi leading
the pack with little position changes.

I'm all for the low tech Buell twins and even a priller allowed to do
1200cc's because it's the only way they CAN even think about being
competitive but Ducati has V4 Desmo technology for FIM racing. Let the
Japanese run similiar "expensive inards" and no intake restrictiction
or even run Pnumatic valve actuation on the I4's. It's really about
the mahines with the same old riders so lets not BS each other about
real racing in WSB. Even US CCS know's which direction the REAL race
compass points when you talk about one on racing and the Euro crowds
are always records setting no matter who is winning;) No more Ducati
cup racing! If the spec for an I4 is 1 liter then so should the
Ducati's. They don't seem to be having ANY problems winning with their
twin at only one liter;)

I don't think Duc would have won the 1st race.
So blame that one on Biaggi.
I know Haga does.
Yeah he was, I was thinking the whole time that Haga was going to win that
race. That was just my opinion.
Not just your opinion. Haga's opinion too, for sure.

I wish we would have heard more about the reversed circuit during the
broadcast.
There was a section where Corser was super quick through a couple of right
handers. Remember? There was one lap around mid-race where he passed Haga
for 2nd and challenged Bayliss for 1st, pretty much all at once. He must
have figured that section out sooner than the rest of them.

It was interesting to hear commentary from Steve Walker and Karl Muggeridge
during the broadcast. Did you hear the bit about Muggeridge's race bikes
being stolen? I think that's what they said, anyway.
Yeah, but I seem to recall that later on they alluded to them being
held up in customs,
somewhere, so I'm not sure what the real scoop is.
