Seeking advice for San Marino GP round 13

(apologies if posted twice)

Hi everyone,

I've been fortunate enough to be able to arrange to go to the San
Marino MotoGP (round 13) this year at Misano. I am travelling through
France-Italy-Greece with my family on holiday and our itinerary
magically matches up with a MotoGP race (how about that?).

Has anyone gone to this track for a race before? I will be staying in
Yes thanks, for the SBK round in June.

Rimini or Riccione and will be going to the race day only, and will
need transport to/from the track. My ticket is for a seat in the D
Riccione is better; it's nearer and is less manic. I'm told Cattolica
is also good.

The circuti itself is in Misano Adriatico, which is between Riccione
and Cattolica.
Hire car? Hire scooter? Hire bicycle? There's a railway station in
Misano (trains from Riccione, Cattolica, etc) and it's walkable from
there but it's quite a way. web-search Earth is your friend for checking

grandstand and is through Pole Position Travel. Any advice about
transport, timing the activities of the day, etc. would be very much
appreciated. Are there any shuttle buses between Rimini or Riccione
and the track? Where do the race fans go to party afterwards? Can I

buy food at the track or should I pack a picnic lunch? Any other
Yes, but it's not fantastic and there are long queues. Take a picnic.
It's the first MotoGP at the track for a while, it's run by Italians
and the pressure will be on. Expect chaos getting in and out of the
track, allow plenty of time to get to your seat, dress for a day
sitting in blazing sunshine with no shade.

advice welcome.
