Just finished reading The Whale Road, and an entry in the Glossary had
me chuckling like a loon!
"DYFFLYN - 'Dubh Linn' (Black Pool)..."

Well up to your usual standard of post. Top stuff; boring, unfunny, and
not even your own work.

Well, yes. I thought everyone knew that Dublin meant Black Pool?

And even if they didn't, I'm not sure I understand why it's funny.

Well it was funny to me at the time, with the benefit of a bottle of
Rioja and a dram of Tobermory/Gelenlivet/Aberrlour/The MacCallan which
ever it was.
