Le Mans GP

Anyone going this year via Portsmouth??

whats the estimated costs involved? are you going for race day or the whole
pre-qualify etc ?

=A340-=A348 return Portsmouth-Le'Harve.
Ferry leaves Portsmouth at 23:00 Friday and arrives at Le'Harve 07:30
Saturday.
GP ticket (Saturday and Sunday only) 80 euros
Just need somewhere to sleep on Sat night. Campsite shouldn't be that
expensive.

Local campsites seem to hike their prices around the same time (supply
and demand i suppose :P), and about 15-20quid a night, there are some
decent places to stay other than camping though (unless that's your
thing).

I will be going Via portsmouth but im around the southampton area
anyway :)

Have you booked a cabin? There aren't many. If not take your camping mat
into the lounge and claim a space on the floor: there's plenty of room. The
seats are okay but you'll get better sleep on the floor.

Also, the food on board is expensive. Have a good nosh before you get on
the ferry. There's a McPub next to the Travelodge by the port entrance.
