Spring, sprang, sprung

Shirley uncork that bottle of Patron Silver and line 'em up. Today's a
good day to celebrate another trip around the sun!
For those of us up here in the North America, tonight's the Vernal
|
And soon it will be
Hot town
Summer in the city
Back of my neck getting dirt'n gritty
Been down, isn't it a pity
Doesn't seem to be a shadow in the city
And babe, don't you know it's a pity
That the days
Can't be like the nights
I reckon the nights are as long as the days right now
but they won't be for long. Thanks for the tequila
[glug] [gasp] [hiccup] [burp] [warm glow] [sigh]

Equinox. The beginning of astronomical spring. The season of rebirth.
|
Thanks, I'll drink to that. Spring's the best season (I was born in it ).
|
Me too, celebrated it just a few days ago ...
|
And today's Hoppy's B'day, another reason to buy a round.
HFBD Hoppy! Next one's on me.
|
HFBD Hoppy! I'll get your next round.
|
|
Music to my ears! To Hoppy and another trip around the sun! [clink]
|
|
The sun's racing north along the ecliptic great circle, and at 00:07UTC
she'll cross the equator at the First Point of Aries. Today, night and
day stand in perfect balance.
The days are becoming longer, the air warmer and life is returning to
the land. The snow's all but melted here in Michigan, flowers are poking
up out of the dirt, and folks are pulling their bikes outta their barns!
Tis a good day to plant yer seed, mount yer steed and feel the wind in
|
While I did indeed mount my steed today, I don't think I'd classify it as a
good day to do any gardening, unless "plant yer seed" was meant as a

It was meant as a double entendre, so yer welcome to take it any way it
works for ya.

euphemism.
Here's a shot of my morning commute:
|
A we tad different from Jojo's pics
|
It was a little nicer where this picture was taken than on the road I was
on, but the shot from that camera doesn't show much:
The snow had stuck to the camera just like it was sticking to my face
sheild. I need one of those finger squeegy things. On the brighter side,
it was a wet heavy snow with the temps around the freezing point and the
bike ran great. It's supposed to turn to rain, in fact I think it already
has, so I put my old tattered cover from the Road King on the bike and
hopefully I'll have no problems with it after work.

your face.

If you can get your battery to charge. Don't ask me how I know that. ;-)
|
To another season of long rides to pass bottles and swap lies with good
friends ...
|
Happy Spring!
Kel-warming up

|
Yeeeeha
After tonight's anticipated LOW of 15 degrees, the subsequent days on the
ten day forecast show lows above freezing (Here at least).
|
Yeah, but you know how them weather dudes lie. /;^)
(Single digit temps for us tonight.)

|
|
Did almost 600 this last weekend, break-in miles.
