OT - did something for the first time yesterday

Shirley - set em up.

Never saw the point in watering a lawn so It would grow faster and you'd
have to cut it sooner, But I watered my lawn yesterday.

Memphis has had thirty days with heat indices over 100 and the past week
actual temps have been over 100 every day. You could practically hear the
grass soaking it up.

Some of you PNW people tell me how great the riding weather is there now so
I can at least live vicariously.
It hit 99 Saturday while I was out playing golf with a group from work.
A towel soaked with cold water across the back of my neck kept me going.
It's been about the same here lately. I'm ready for fall.
It was 106 in my area of the shop when I left at 4 . I was thinking about
calling you to see if you wanted to ride for a beer tonight , but it's way
too hot . And I got beer in the fridge .
I took the day off to stand in a line outside a church and then a
cemetary in Paris, TN holding a flag in the same heat.

RIP Spc. Justin R. Blackwell.
I tip my hat to you sir .
Good on you Roger!!!

how far is Paris from you.. one of my old buds from MI bought a place there
to retire..\
Probably 45 miles. Nice little hour ride on Hwy54 out of Dresden,
through a 1-caution light little township called Como and you're
there.
