Motocross.com videos - Red Bud Spoiler
|
Recently, only highlights of AMA MX Moto 1 have been broadcast, but
motocross.com has been kind enough to provide footage for Moto 1,
e.g., here it is for Red Bud (Round 5):
I save all the MX & SX races and have been trying to "capture" the
moto 1 video to incorporate in my race video archives but haven't been
entirely sucessful.
All of the methods I've tried thus far have involved running the video
full screen on one computer, and outputting an analog signal, in TV
format, via S-Video & Audio RCA. Some tries have used a second
computer to capture the output (via analog-to-digital converters).
Some tries have used a Panasonic DMR-HS2 (DVR & DVD Burner) to capture
the output.
While I've encountered a number of problems, the big one is keeping a
smooth, high-quality image for the hour (or whatever) of video I'm
trying to capture for the moto. Every try so far, somewhere (multiple
times) it'll "skip" & ruin the video. For example, this last time,
with ~10min to go in the moto, where RC does his "surfboard" move &
loses the lead to Stewart, something happened causing the video to
"skip" and ruined both the "live" and replay video. Frustrating, to
say the least - also, EXTREMELY time-consuming with, so far, no good
result.
So, is there some way I can just download or capture the source
(*.wmv) file instead of trying to play it & capture the video?
