China qualifying.

Pedrosa gets pole while Rossi is in 13th, Hopkins 2nd and Edwards 3rd, it
was a rain interupted session though so sounds like it was a bit of a
lottery.

It was stunning to watch. The rain came down, hard, in the middle of the
session and it looked like Sete had stolen it. I doubt anyone had mounted Qs
so early in the session. Then I couldn't believe it dried enough to give
them 10 minutes of hard running to the end. Great stuff. Just as fun to
watch was the Friday 2nd practice with everyone pushing very hard - in the
rain - like it was qualifying. Sete's on-board telemetry said he did 331 KPH
down the straight in the pouring rain. Amazing.

Stoner is 7th although was fastest in the last practice session, whileRossi
was fastest during the first 2 sessions, so I doubt the qual postions
reflect the race speed.
Rossi seems happier with his bike this round so I'm sure he will come
through the field and be a serious contender.
As far as calling the race winner that's a hard call, if it's wet Rossi
would certainly be the favourite but if dry who knows, so no dry race
predictions from me, I'll just sit back and enjoy it, mind you I want to
watch it live and the 250 race starts 06:15am local time so I'll have to set
the alarm and take is easy on the beers tonight.
