What is that *smell*

For those that know the M10 / M1 junction what is that god *awful* pong?
Anyone got any idea?

Buncefield, again? It's often a bit whiffy round there, though.

I don't think so. Too far south by quite a chunk

Anyway, what's the source of the whiff near Membury services on teh M4.
Sometimes it's Acetone, other times it's Hydrogen Sulphide other times
it's burnt rubber.

There's a landfill type site at the side of the M10 (left hand side,
behind the trees just before you cross over the M1 going towards it).
