UFO

At least I couldn't identify it, and it was flying along the road.
Travelling in a southerly direction on the M5 from Bristol to Exeter
this afternoon, a maroon thing with a dustbin fairing, probably a single
seat,
and an enormous bulbous seat-hump that came halfway up the rider's back.
That's all I could see as I was going the other way.
Any idea what it could have been?

He'd dust binned it?
What time and where (junction number would help)? I may just be able to get

So, did it look like this:

or this?
It resembled the latter but with a streamlined tail as well as the
dustbin fairing.
Hmmm...

Have you got that on the road yet? If so, is it stable in crosswinds?
Nope, dunno.

rain.

No names, no pack-drill ;o)

Dustbin fairings are outlawed for racing, I suspect because they're so much

though.
Sounds like a Malcolm Newell thing, the one he did after the Quasar.
Phaser? Quantum?

A Royce Creasey Voyager?
