ot: Rolling Stones
Last week we did some display work for the Stones after show party.
They were so pleased with it one of their people has just phoned up and
given me 4 complimentary tickets for tomorrow night.
And you can't make it, and I live round the corner?
Excellent, somewhere to crash after the gig :)
But not an invite to the ASP to see your wares in action. Gutted.
Don't know all the details but I very much doubt it. I'll be standing
in the rain with the normos.
Lucky sod, paid an arm and a leg for mine.
Yeah, 'cos I read in the Daily Mail today that they were having a hard
time in selling the tickets, so now they're giving them away.
The Mail said that they were getting Saga involved to raise sales.
Well if it was in the Daily Mail it must be true.
Exactly. You'll see it tomorrow. Follow the OAP's getting off the
buses.
Watch out for the wheelchairs mind!
Quite the opposite, actually:
Fair play, Micks looking really good for an 87 yr old...
Just watch how quickly your circle of friends increases today!
I wouldn't get too excited. I've been sitting in my office watching the
early arrivals, and I predict a strong smell of wee in the stadium
tonight,
Cerainly will be on-stage.
Looking at the picture of the rolling stones on the iTunes music store
Charlie Watts certainly looks like he'd smell of wee. He looks even
older than Auvache. If you've got iTunes installed, connect to the
music store and then search on "The Rolling Stones". Their 'page' shows
the four of them... the contrast between Charlie (looking close to 70)
and Mick looking well, 50 or so is very, very odd.
