First Ride of Year - Street Bob & Impressions

Well, Edmonton has definitely been behind Calgary in terms of warming
temperatures but, this past weekend, I figured things were good enough
to get the new bike out on the road.

Man, if felt good to get back on 2 wheels again - especially so when
it's on a new bike.

I put together a Web page, writing up some of my initial impressions,
Heh, heh. Yup.

Hard enough to do, but seems even more daunting on a brand new one!
Nice write-up. Thanks for sharing; I enjoyed it. Kind of wish I had
held off buying my '06 Street Glide and popping for the 103" kit and 6-
speed (at huge expense, of course) only to have Harley come out with
the 96" version with 6-speed that DOESN'T need stroking to get to
103"! Ah well, it doesn't matter now.

I've got two new projects waiting for mine, after returning from Bike
Week:

1. Install new, full floating Brembo front brake rotors, and
2. Install new, Marchal Dual Ampiluxe front headlight with separatly
adjustable European pattern high and low beams, with 80w low and 100w
high beam. Maybe I'll see Bambi more quickly at night!
