New to Riding

I've finally got my act together and started with bike lessons, As a
complete novice to the world of two wheels I'm loving it and can't wait to
get my license then my bike. I have left it quite a while by some
standards, seeing as I'm 30.
Geez, you young people. Didn't you ride pushies when you were (even)
younger.?

I have one issue which I'm sure many have had when they first got behind
the handlebars.. I need the confidence to let the bike lean and turn. I'm
finding it hard to trust that it won't tip over. I know it won't but am
having trouble trusting that it won't topple over. Any suggestions on how
to over-come this problem? I'm sure with practise I'll get it, but I'm just
sick of putting my leg out thinking I'm going to drop the bike. It's mainly
on 'O' and 'U-turns'. I still don't have the confidence to turn sharply
either.

Any positive suggestions welcomed.
Find a single corner you can practise on safely without disturbing
others. Gradually (gradually) increase the speed at which you enter and
exit. Remind yourself "don't be afraid to lean over."
