When refitting your rear wheel...

after having the tyre changed, don't forget to make sure the sprocket
carrier is pushed all the way home. Really do make sure.
Ha! He shoots, he scores!

Otherwise the job may involve a fair bit of swearing, heaving, dispair
and general ire directed towards the land of the rising sun.

Many thanks to Bonwick and Champ, for suggesting the right places to
look.
Well he is the NG baby I suppose
I reckon you owe me a beer for getting ZX10R telephone support while I
was watching the adverts in the cinema :-)
More than happy to - both you and Andy.
He could have called me, I've swopped the wheels on my mate Danny's ZX-
10R more times than I can remember.
Anyway, it wasn't 10R specific:

Chris: "My wheel won't go back in - the combination of wheel, spacers
and caliper carrier is too wide"

Me: "Well, somethings not seated right. Make sure the sprocket
carrier is pushed in properly. Gotta go, the films about to start".
Don't leave us in suspense, was the film any good?
It was "Eragon", and I was taking a couple of kids (friends of the
family). It was pretty sub-LotR (and lord knows I'm no great fan of
LotR), but the under 12s loved it.
R4's review of it said something like "you've seen this sort of thing
*so* many times before that it's actually possible for a reasonably
intelligent adult to make a guess as to the next line of dialogue, and
be right 75% of the time, odd names excepted".
followed by a comment by Andy saying "jump up and down on it".

he does technical.
