|
Looks like I'll be botaftting alone then...
Ho hum, if the weather's good , I'll do it and renenber some good
run's... Porl being booked comes to mind... Happy day's... :-)
|
Your monstrously bad handle on grammar is all the compensation I'll
ever need. Freak!
|
Happy New Year one and all.....
|
Sorry Owen, I am otherwise engaged.
|
My 7R's got no engine (or wheels, or wiring, or swingarm...) and my CG's
got no MOT (iirc) and apparently runs like a dog. And it's cold and wet.
And I'll be on call.
|
Have you still got the clocks and fairing bracket? A mate of mine
locally was knocked off by a hit and run driver and is looking for a
source of cheap parts.
|
I've still got a garage full of 7R parts - let me know what he needs,
and if I've got it, I'll let it go cheap to avoid ebay hassle.
Clocks I definately have.
|
Excellent, thanks. I'll try and get a list of what he desperately needs
and get back to you.
|
|
|
The clocks were in a thousand and one pieces, and the h-frame looked
like an Alexander Calder mobile by the time I got it back. The cockpit
was the worst-damaged part of the whole bike.
Remaining bits are, roughly:
indicators
swingarm
frame & logbook
engine (condition unknown)
carbs
wheels, discs, spindles, etc
forks (need to check they're straight) and yokes
carbon hugger
cdi, fusebox, etc
and a few assorted bits and bobs I took off ages ago but haven't yet
punted.
|
OK, ta. I'll pass that on but I am under the impression that the
cocckpit took the brunt of the damage on his too. He has got frame
damage[1], how much are you after for yours?
[1] Dented where handlebar caught it.

But other than that, I'll be there, dude.
