Crip pic revisited and Thanks

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Orthopedic surgeons are better at figuring out what's really
broken/battered than emergency room docs. Too bad it
takes a week to get in to see them.
Joe

My fibula break was rotated a bit because the mumble-
mumble ligaments were smashed up too. To fix it
properly required:

which the good doc put in Wednesday. I'm now non-weight
bearing for 2 weeks minimum. When I see the doc again,
we agreed to look at the race schedule, a couple of extra
large boots, and his stash of splint stuff to figure out a
way for me to make the ABQ race September 24.
Sounds like CO is out.
Yep. I see the orthodude sept 21 and we fit a boot
so I can leave the next day for ABQ. P.T. starts this
friday. I'm weight bearing as tolerated as of today.

As for the thanks - you guys are alright. Thanks for the
card. Wish I was there. Next time.
You are very welcome. We would have sent a signed rock,
except all the postage fund was spent on beer.

We're gonna hold you to the "next time". I can hardly wait
Deal.

See ya,

We don't stop riding because we get old, we get old because we stop riding.

Go fast. Take chances.
