Mark "Velosapiens" Weaver Injury Report
|
Seems Mark went and got hisself hurt last weekend.
Compound fracture of his left femur...ouch!
|
Always sad when someone gets hurt riding...
I really hope Mark's recovery to be fast and painless...
|
Here's to a quick and relatively pain-free recovery, Mark!
|
I was riding in the same area over the weekend. Probably 75-85% of
the trails are pretty easy and ATV accessible, so motorcyclists tend
to go a little faster than is really safe (I hate to say it, but I'm
guilty too) if there are very many riders. There aren't any one way
trails here and the ATVs form ruts that make the trails kind of like a
luge run, so speeding around the wrong side of a corner can be kind of
fun. My brother's girlfriend's son also got into a head on collision
with someone that was riding a little too fast. Fortunately he wasn't
hurt, nor was the '76 Bultaco Alpina he was riding.
Heal quickly Mark! Sorry I missed you up there.

I was camped at Winom Frazier with my family. It's an annual thing
for us. I'm sorry we missed you guys. I'm also sorry to hear about
Mark's injuries. I hope there's no permanent damage and he heals
quickly.

Woodschick,
Could you copy and paste the details from KTM talk? My current
HusqvarnaTalk account requires exclusivity and I can't or don't want to join
KTM Talk.
|
Wow, yeah that's some hoops to jump through getting into that special little
world. Sort of that teutonic "it's not easy being superior" kind of
attitude. They probably don't want my type there anyway.
|
Get better Mark!
