Moab

Got back from Moab 3 days ago but didn't have time to post anything yet.
It was a good trip. Was a large group of 12, that got weeded down to 11
after the 2nd day when one of the guys had a partial seperation of his
shoulder. Forgot to loft a wheel when getting up on a rock ledge and went
over the bars.

I had one crash, day one, 1/2 mile from the trucks. Thought I heard
something on the WR. Looking down I didn't notice there was a corner coming
up with a wash out in it. I launched over the bars about 20 mph. Thank god
I landed in the sand. Still banged my knee on the bars on intial take off.

Weather was good, trails were good, guys were good. Fun trip, man I love
this sport!!!

Which bike were you riding?
I was on my 03 WR. It's a great bike for that kind of riding. Lots of
stopping for views and the group to catch up. The kick stand and E-start
makes that so easy. Then the grunt really works nice on those rocks out
there.

I know your back east but if you ever get a chance you have got to ride
that area. It's amazing how sticky the rocks are and the scenery is some of
the best of any place I have been.
