Who was it who does laser cut graphics?

I know Cane does the UKRM spangly stickers, but didn't someone set
themselves up doing this full-time?

I need to price up some simple rear screen graphics for the company
shed.
There's a bloke in the Mazda RX-7 club who does vinyl stickers and the
ones I've seen look very good. He's in Milford Haven so that may not
be as convenient as Caadiff for you...

Let me know and I can put you in touch with him
some of the 80cm cutters from ebay are cheap enough its almost worth gatting
one and DIY
Heh - I've just looked. There are some cheap cutters out there.

The only issue I can see with that plan is the software to drive them.

All very well buying a cutter for 80 quid, but they want another 50 quid
for software - and would I really use it enough to make it worthwhile?
Hmmm, checked completed listings - stuff with 1 day to go at 40 quid has
a flurry of activity in the last few hours, meaning the completed price
is well over 200 quid.

I definitely wouldn't use it enough to make that worthwhile.
This is a chap I know from UKGSer

His name is Steve and he lives in Cardiff.
I know he has, or has access to, the machinery. The decal business is a
sideline to his main work, but I'm sure he could arrange something.

Send him an email and I'm sure he'll get back to you once he has returned
from riding his bike to Corsica and back.
Cheers - looks like he can do what I'm looking for.
Yes, but they don't any more.
Ahh, OK. I'll look for someone local in that case.
I have a vinyl cutter that I use to run off masking for my airbrush
work. I bought some rolls of vinyl in a few different colours just in
case I wanted to make any decals so I should be able to put together
what you're wanting unless you need large lettering (about 17cm high
maximum) as it's not a full size machine. If that's any good to you
please drop me an email and I'll work out some costings for you.

All the best, Grant
Yeah he did. Not worth the effort of trying to communicate with total
numpties for the minimal profit margin concerned was, IIRC, the verdict
[1]

And that's *before* SteveH had a chance to order from him :)

[1] IIRC, and again ICBW, but ISTR him saying something at Pahnd island
about the final straw being some wheel rim tape/transfers, where the
person ordering should not have been let loose with a pop-up toaster,
let alone a credit card and the net ... but it's all very hazy, so ICBW
