Will it pass the MOT?

Bike - J reg ZXR 400 an import with the headlights that Pidcocks tried
to get me to swap claiming they were illegal.

Owner - has deficient attitude to maintenance.

Work undertaken in the last year - Lozzo told me off, lubed the chain
and added a cable tie to keep the fairing together.

Condition - bought predisastered by C.Grainger, has had a number [1]
of stationary or sub 5mph drops since. Looks awful, sounds awful but I
love it.

MOT station - known to be harsh, failed the CG125 for having the front
indicators ever so slightly bent after the wheelie incident.
Try using Alan's Test Centre, on the industrial estate behind the
baseball ground. They only do MOT's and will follow the rules, rather
than make them up. Plus they don't keep you waiting forever as they've
quite a number of testers..
i don't think Alan's in Derby do bikes, i take mine Alan's in Burton
never had a problem.
I *know* that they do, because they did the ZRX a month or so ago.
then i stand corrected

So pass, fail and if so what on? Beverage of your choice to the
nearest guess.

[1] I started to list them then got depressed at my feebleness and
lack of balance, though tbf it's been over a year since the last time,
which was a low speed U turn in the service station on the way to the
French run last year.
