Tyres again (sorry)

A few months ago I asked the honoured experts here
what would be a good all round tyre for my 54 reg VFR,
no I dont get my knee anywhere the floor, yes I prefer to
ride upright and do a fw long distance journeys each year.

Someone recommended Avon ???? summat
Someone recommended Michelin ??? summat

Can those someones remind me please?
Or does anyone have a better recommendation?
Michelin Pilot Road 2 and Avon Storm.

I've got the Pilots on my Daytona at the moment, so has Hog on his ST4
Ducati and we both love them. Mine have done about 5000 miles now and
they are just starting to show the first signs of squaring, handling
hasn't been affected in any way yet. They've impresed me and I'll buy
them again.

I haven't had the Storms, but from what I hear they grip extremely
well but don't last as long as the AV45/46ST they replaced.
Yup no moments at all with them yet, wet or dry
Thats it, now I remember, time to see who can do good deals then.
Anyone else want to put there 2p worth in?

Ta very much
Alan
