Pikey tyres anyone ?
|
Finally got round to replacing the Michelin Macadams on the Voxan with
something more suited to the odd hill climb. The market for part worn
90x's on Ebay appears non existent so if any one wants them and suitable
free collection/transport can be arranged speak up.

Oh yes - remiss of me : Wolverhampton

Michelin Macadam 90x 120/70 180/55
Done around 2000 miles

Hi Pete,
as those appear to be the right size for the Zed, count me in... if you
let me have a go on the outfit when I pick them up...
|
Are you serious? Are you really going to wreck the 750 by putting
macadams on it?
|
Certainly wreck it soon afterwards, iwt.

OK, but be aware that they are probably 6 years old, 5 of which were
spent on the bike, hanging round in dealers or the Voxan factory.
Number emailed if you are still interested.
The outfit is on SORN at present, but a new battery and plugs got her
going the other day after being unused for 18 months. Hoping to get her
MoT'd soon and will probably then sell, as the sprog is old enough to go
on the back of a solo now. First time for him on the back of the Voxan
yesterday on a lunch run out to the 'greasy spoon' at Quatford as his
school was closed for the elections. Ear to ear grin result!

|
Good as new, if not better?
|
|
Quite, just nicely scrubbed in, although a bit on the old side at 6
years (bike was 5 years old before put on the road).
|
Horrible things, mind. My Duke came with them as OE. The rear lasted
9,000 miles and the sidewall cracked all the way round.
There again, yours are cheap ;-)
