Thanks very much indeed. Do you reckon it's worth loosening some clamps
under the engin eon the exhaust before trying to persuade it the extra
1.5cm or just try to ease it out?

I'd loosen them, yes. Get someone to hold the system steady when you
tighten them up.

When I can get into the garage later today, sure.
