Tyre sizes

Om the VFR800 the rear is a 180 size, can i just chuck
a new 190 tyre on and it be ok?

I can get the 190 cheaper than i can a 180, oh and there
both the 55 ZR17.
I wouldn't. It will probably[0] affect the handling in a horrible way.

Are you sure you have the right bike? Only cheapskates[1] tend to ride
Diversions or older BMWs...

[0] I have no evidence, just a hunch
[1] although, see SteveH's post recommending Continentals :)
Oi! Fuggoff! Fair cop though.
I do know what bike i have sat stood in the garage, well its red anyways.

Continentals are a non starter, but i did think i could shove a 190 on
the back in place of the 180 and get away with it, but i stand corrected.
180 it is.
