Actually, There was something in the original communication that
set the 'location' flag in my head to be 'WA', but by the time
I'd finished writing the post I'd realised it was the /other/
WA... and... well...

WA? This is in Melbourne.. a suburb or two from me... but I wouldn't
trust my mechanical ability. AFAIK they are associated with Metro
Spares in Sydney (same owner perhaps?). I bought an 1100 Gixxer engine
off Metro over the phone and gave the old one to Vic Wreckers as part of
the changeover deal. I've never heard of any shonkyness associated with
them. They've been around for years.
