Sprint ST 1050: First impressions and .sig change

After about 100 miles

Nice, very nice.

It feels *big* when you get on, but I find I am getting used to it very
fast.

Panniers do not appear to have any effect on handling that I can feel.

Brakes are great, but oddly not as fierce as I recall them from the
test. Could be subjective as on the test I'd just got off the Bandit.

Deceptively fast (again could be a comparative thing, but it seems less
fast than the Triple, but you can be going rather faster than one thinks.

It's not *massively* quiet, but there is definitely less wind exposure
at motorway speeds.

Fuel gauge seems massively inaccurate, but time will tell. LCD temp is
a bit odd as there is no real way to tell what is normal and what is too
hot. (Although there is a warning light)

Trip computer seems to to the normal things. Apparently it's averaged
40 miles to the gallon over the last 3.5k and it will do 155 miles on a
tank.
Ah - I had thought this was a brand new one - what's the mileage and (if
it's not a rude question) how much was it in the end?
3.5k and £6600 including panniers, heated grips, high screen, warranty.

How's the email?

The server is up and running but hasn't been put into service yet -
unfortunately too many other priorities. I'll be in touch.

All in all I am a happy (easter) bunny.
