FOAK : Jeep Grand Cherokee

I've been looking at a W plated (2000) 4.0 litre petrol engined Grand
Cherokee Limited.
56500 miles. Full Service History. 6000 quid.

What does the FOAK think?
Are they good, bad or indifferent?
Anything likely to go wrong with said vehicle in the near future?
Would you say that if it was a U8 Bagheera ?
I probably wouldn't.
I remember those. My Vincent/Morini/Parilla owning mate once had a Simca
1100. At least they were innovative:
"The 1100's transmission configuration was revolutionary in that it was
transverse and axial with the engine giving the 'engine on one side,
transmission on the other' layout copied on almost all hot hatches and
front wheel drive vehicles ever since."

Worse, he had the estate version.
The FiL had a couple of estates. The boot floor was removeable and had
fold-down legs so it could be used as a picnic table.

He's still got the picnic table.

I once almost, nearly, bought a Matra-Simca Rancho
(a sort of primitive SUV).
I had one of those - it didn't last very long. It's only redeeming
feature was that it was easy to spot in car parks.
I had a Jeep 4.0l Ltd - not the Grand.
I really liked it - nice to drive, good performance for a tank, and
surprisingly frugal on fuel considering, @ 19mpg

but..

It was *the* most expensive vehicle I have ever owned, the least
reliable, and after 2 yrs I was glad to see the back of it.
So you got a car in the same class as a 5-series, right?
Were'nt they and the Land Rover Discoverys recently voted as the most
unreliable 4x4's?

Yep ..
So. Based on the collection of answers: I leave it alone then.
Thanks for the info.
