OT - Aeroplane Registration Plates....

Wot and be the only chwat sitting there in a dodgy sombrero and a souvenir
donkey on his lap??

Hi don't think so....
.... or whatever the marks are - can you look them up to see who owns the
vehicle ?

There were a couple of blinged out choppers parked in the back garden of one
of my favourite restaurants last week.

G-WHAM was one of them - I wondered if it belonged to Andrew Ridgeley or the
fella that falls asleep puffin' da 'erb whilst driving his car.
And it would seem not.
G-SPOT seems a great reg ... belongs to a Mr Ffooks
.. or reading the text ... was owned ..
This one was owned by my mother:
"Status: De-registered"

What happened to it?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Oops! That can't have been good for it.
No. It was parked at Newtownards when the sea wall breached.
Ah, that's not quite as exciting a tale as I'd hoped.
Well, the plane my mother and her blerk had been rebuilding when they were
killed had also had an involuntary dip, this time in the River Bann, because
I think you're the only person I know, who's known someone who's been
killed in a plane crash. Which is amazing, when you think about it.
Sorry if that's insensitive, by the way.
*boggle*

Ok, where's the real VAM and what have you done with him?

the owner (who had had a good lunch with a couple of floozies) was taking
said floozies for a low-level joyride when he encountered a telephone
wire...
Ahhh - cool, i'll not bother digging the graffitti cans and cable snips out
quite yet then.
I think there might be something - a neighbour has a thing set up that
tells him what's flying overhead, and I installed a program for him
that went off to some flying-anoraks database to fill in details. They
were the gatwick air enthusiasts, or something to do with either of
heathrow or gatwick.

If you need more info I'll try to find out.
WUN had it spot on - see earlier post.

Cheers Anyhoos.
searching the web around found this ..

They (George and Andrew) remain close friends who talk regularly on the
phone. Occasionally locals will hear the whirring blades of George's private
helicopter as it lands on the fields of the farm to see his old pal. The
last time. was shortly before Christmas, when he came to discuss the
possibility of a Wham! reunion.

Then there is this ..

So, whoever you are looking for was at the Goodward Festival of Speed in
2006. Ridgley is a bit of a driver having done Formula Three racing in the
Good*wood* ffs.

And then there's this:

Recognise anybody?
That's Blaney driving the fuel tanker.
Oh yes! If you look closely you can just see the telegraph pole.
