About the Sachs 150KN
|
Have you heard anything about the Sachs 150KN?
Here in Melbourne they are selling it as a Sachs bike for 50% less
than the famous Madass 125.
The strange thing is, I couldn't find any WEB reference for this bike,
not on the .au nor on the .de Sachs sites.
I guess to make the matter worst the bike has a stick on Sachs label
on the tank, everything else is marked FYM.
I know it is only $2k+ORC but I would hate sucked into another cheap
Chinese imitation.

I'm sure its quality all the way...

If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is...

It's a rebadged version of this:
Some reviews suggest it is a good version of what it is.

Watch out for the trojans on the website, unless they have cleaned it up.

the genuine Madass. I'd be worried about the leveraged load placed
on the main frame where the seat mounting tube is welded to it, whether
on the Madass or the copy. Imagine how much extra load there will
be with two up. On either model there's a fillet plate but how thick
and of what tensile strength is the tube the frame's made of where
the fillet is placed?
