Ultrabarge w/s Pouch

Is there anything better on the market than the H-D windscreen pouch for
Electra/Ultra's? I want the type with 3 compartments and the turn latch
straps rather than velcro or buckle.
Drinks on my tab if you can have any suggestions.

I like the looks of those better than mine with the 3 all attached to
single back piece, but I like having the velcro, specially when trying
to open them to get a smoke when I got gloves on.

Caught it. I haven't let anyone install any of my doodads, because they
seem to always mess things up. Hell, they lost one of my fairing
mounting screws when they changed my cams. I still ain't figured out
why they had to pull the fairing to change the cams.

No what ya mean.......they'd already done the install before I started
shopping for the bike........

Now that I've finally gotten a complete set of skins in Birch White
(well, except for the side covers), it's time to change this black FLHTi
to a white FLHTi with police bags. Got to get off those police emblems
from the tank and fairing first though. That and swapping the fuel pump
from one tank to the other.

So, you don't need a little black box with a red button on it to make
everyone drive slow.......ya just ride a bike that screams "COP" at the
top of it's lungs......

That's neat, Steve. Is that a SatRad, GPS or .mp3? Is the pouch custom,
modified or company made? I need a spot for my .mp3 player and that might
fit the bill although it will need to be wrapped in foam when used on the
bike.
When I replaced my original player last year, an original Creative Jukebox
1, the 1st hard drive mp3 player created (which was bulletproof on my
softail), the new unit, a Creative Zen Touch 40 gig, gave up the ghost after
2-3 weeks of bumps. Now that I've got the barge I'm not sure if that would
happen again but I'm hesitant to try the replaced Zen Touch on a bike
without a complete foam surrounding. I can buy a wired remote for the unit
that can attach to my handlebar and has a small LCD window. The old unit sat
on a pouch in front of the seat on the tank. The new one would probably have
to go in the w/s pouch I want to pick up.

I called up the company above and asked them which model/year bikes it fits.
The guy, who clearly knew nada about motorcycles, states it fits "most
bikes".
I say "yeah, so do you mean it fits Suzukis, Yamahas, Harleys etc...".
He says "yeah, it fits most bikes".
"uhhhhhhhh, ok, so you don't know or show exactly which bike or year the
insert below the pockets will fit?"
"No, it fits most bikes"
"ok, thanks anyway"

That's exactly what I'm looking for. Do you have one? If so, howzit? I wrote
them a note asking about model/year fit and they havn't answered yet. I'll
call 'em tomorrow. Thanks for this reply and almost all the others. Bar's
open, HAROM.

Who ever heard of putting radios on motorcycles? What ever happened to
the sound of the road??

The reason I like the FLH Standard I have, is BECAUSE it doesn't have a
radio/CD thingy in it, but instead the slot for one that holds several
20 oz bottles of water instead!
And due to my taste in music, I would most likely get arrested for
something "lewed and/or Perverse" if I cranked up music that contained
"the vile sounds" that offended others... like a fluglehorn solo.

I suggest you should buy dinner as well...
Have you given a thought to tearing the velcro out and putting your
own latches on the bags? ( that sounds painful after those other
responses)

But it is variable size - smaller in cold weather!

it comes with a wallet made of elephant foreskin. when you rub it, it turns
into a suitcase........
