Riding buddies for Bob Mann

Bob, it looks like you might have some riding company on your way from
Winnipeg to Calgary today.

"Officers are basically stopping every vehicle with out-of-province
licence plates, looking for outstanding warrants and vehicle violations."
So Bob's safe-- his bike has a Manitoba plate.

Sounds like you might get delayed as they pull over all suspicious
looking characters.

Whoops, forget what I said about being safe Bob, prepare to get pulled
over.

Ironically, I ended up eating lunch with them at the Dairy Queen in
Moosomin, Saskatchewan and chatted with one about my bike.
Leapfrogged them most of the way to Calgary as we stopped for gas.
I had heard on Wednesday that a lot of them got stopped just west of
Winnipeg and there seemed to be a lot of RCMP activity at certain
points along the Trans Canada Hwy.
