Power Commander Cheap.

I've just been checking on a few merkin sites. Power Commanders are $259.
They can do a deal for a PC and a K+N plus post for around $320. Even if I
get caught by Vat and Duty it's still only going to cost me around 200gbp.
That seems like a bargain to me?
IIRC Andy bought his new off ebay for about £175 and not much more
postage.

I've been corresponding with a company in the US and they told me not to fit
a TRE because it causes a flat spot that cannot be ironed out. They reckon a
crazier first 4 gears and 5-7hp on top. It'd be interesting to see what it
makes with the PC, K+N and my new Micron race cans.
If it makes any difference for delivery, I am also after a PC for the
Hayabusa?
What's wrong with it? Is it snatchy? I have a Busa with PC fitted and
it fuels very nicely. The PC was fitted when I bought the bike so I
can't give a before and after verdict. Thinking back to a test ride I
had on a standard bike it suffered from a momentary delay when coming
off a closed throttle which was especially noticeable at slow speeds.
This isn't exactly conclusive, but I imagine the PC would help with
this.

They are gonna need a good setup though i reckon?
I agree. It's the quality of the setup engineer that determines how good the
bike will be.

I was thinking about Lloyd Cooper but I understand there's one in Letchworth
somewhere.
