Back on the road.

Finally got to ride my scooter today, fantastic. The gear and engine
modification have worked a treat. Together they've added more stomp and
top speed, although I haven't tested the latter yet as I've got new bits
to run in.

I also got the spare gearbox through from the bike breaker. Heh... true
to their word they've supplied all shafts, gears and shims by sawing the
complete gearbox off from the rest of the engine. :) I even got a good
set of rear brake shoes.

Have to take it in tomorrow for a further fettle, and paying the of
bill.
Are you Petel in disguise?

Now.. to fix me.
I like riding scoots.
So do I, the quirky handling and power delivery make blasting round town
fun. I went to see my mum Wednesday on it, and the ignition system
stopped working. :( Put a 2nd hand CDI in it, still no sparks. I'm
thinking it could be the generator coil, pickup or a broken wire
somewhere. The shop are going to fettle it further, and make it work
again.

On the bright side, I hove home tomorrow.
Hmm, bad form and all.... I move home. To sunny Hove.
