Paging TOG - Valuation Request Please

Sally's bike has been sat around unused for a bit too long, so the time has
come for it to move on to a new home. Any chance you could give us a
ballpark figure for the following please:

CBR400RR Gull-arm, H reg (1991 - I believe that's the import date for
greys?), with 21000km on the clock. In black / graphite.

Cosmetically, there are a few scuffs on the side panels, but no cracks.
There's a crack underneath the top fairing that's been repaired - not
visible unless you're searching for it. Generally looks ok, but not perfect.
Plenty of meat on the tyres and pads. I'm *sure* the exhaust sounds fruitier
than normal (you commented on it on one of the French trips), but it appears
standard.

It'll have 12 months MOT on it when we come to sell it.
Whereabouts roughly are you, and do you have any pics up on the web? Have a
mate after one of these, I'll pass details on..
Prolly 700-800, depending on just how clean it is.
Eugh - that's a bit sucky. Will probably stick it on Ebay at £700 NR in that
case, and see how it goes.

Cheers for the valuation though, however sucky it was.
Well, I've just had a look at completed auctions on Ebay, and a 1988
CBR400 went for £650 and a 1995 model made £870, so I think 700-800
squids is in the right ballpark.
Oh I wasn't doubting you, just pointing out that it sucked that it was worth
that little. Especially after spotting item number 190113186177 - 1990
gull-arm with 56000k on the clock, that went for £1120. But that's EBay (and
a fancy paint job) for you, I guess.
