SWMBO has expressed an interest in one. I like the look of them too but
never driven one. Anything to look out for, where/what to buy etc.

Get a 1.8 import (Eunos Roadster). The standard used car checks apply,
but one area to check is the parcel shelf carpet around the seat belt
mounts. If it's wet, it'll be a blocked drain in the sill; easily fixed
but a good haggling point if the seller doesn't know about it.
If you can find one with the Koni sports adjustable shocks, stick 'em
on the hardest setting & go find an airfield to play on[1]. Induction
kits & the factory sports exhaust are also well worth having.
