rubbers for Gas Gas?

I have found those stretchy rubber things which hold my 2001 xc300's
headlight in place to be short lived. They crack under tension and fail in
the middle of the night.

Zip ties work but aren't very elegant.

I haven't shopped yet...

Try the automotive exhaust dept area at Pep Boys or whatever and see if
they have an exhaust hanger rubber donut that would be a good
substitute. They come in various lengths and diameters. If you can find
one that will work it will last a good long time. Cheap fix too.

I think that i still have some of those.
One can purchase replacement straps for UFO and Acerbis headlights
from a PU dealer.

Hint: Don't stretch them too tight.
