Installing a custom headlight

I'm planning on removing the mini fairing from the front of my '90 Yamaha
TW200 and replacing the headlight with a round cruiser-style headlight.
The problem is that the "ears" that hold the headlight assembly in place
are just under 6 inches apart. Shape-wise, the best option looks like a
'73 CB750 headlight, but I think the bucket is too wide. Does anyone know
a source of information on the widths of headlight buckets? Or is there
a seller of custom headlights that provides that information?
A 5 3/4 inch headlamp is a standard size for a motocycle. I did a
search on ebay Motors for (5 3/4, 5.75) + (headlamp, headlight) and got
194 hits. Including a beuatiful NOS Triumph chrome headlamp chrome
shell for a TR6C on/off road bike. You should be able to find
something there or at any motorcycle swap meet, British, Eurapean,
American or Japanese that will work for you.
Nice! I was definitely not making the most of my ebay searches. Thanks
for the tip.
