OT: Fook Me Xmas Bonus £ 1M
Around 4,000 other high-fliers are expected to receive £1m in bonuses, the
biggest payout in City history.
So what?
"But it is a different story for the bank's cleaners.
They recently protested outside the firm's London headquarters in a row over
pay."
Is this compensation payouts for the pigeons? Coo.
its a lot aint it ?
City bonuses in "quite a lot", shocker.
unfortunately, only very few people who work in the City get this sort
of bonus.
Sure, but it's hardly a novelty for those who do. Ten years ago it'd
have been a half mil bonus. Woo, paypackets increasing over time. Stop
the presses!
4000 people seems "quite a lot" to me.
When I heard a version of this story a few weeks ago, it was 700
people.
Which is still quite a lot.
about 2 million people work in "the City".
Goldmans is a huge company with many sub companies that
have probably been used to make up this figure and I wouldn't
be surprised if some of the figures quoted include overseas
employees.
Given their profits, I'm sure it would still only work out to be a
small percentage ploughed back into their staff.
Markets are definitely on the up.
