Oxygen
|
This actually isn't OT as it pertains to motorcycling. What is the smallest
quantity of containerized oxygen that one can purchase? Can you get it in
those little CO2 kind of hoohas? I need it to be real oxygen though... not
mixed with stuff. And labeled. It can be empty actually if it's labeled.
Actually... a CO2 hooha with a... no. Better not. I need this to be legit,
mostly but I can't say why in public. Thanks.

These are probably the smallest real oxygen containers you'll find.
Strange coincidence here, found this while searching for O2 tanks.
This guy started in Utah in the 80s, selling to the hang gliding crowd
when we started getting high enough, for long enough to need
supplemental O2.
I had a little "pay for my toys" home biz doing sewing fabrication and
repairs for the HG community. I helped him develop a cylinder and
valve mounting system that attached to the flyer's harness. It started
off pretty small but really took off with the sailplane crowd. Once he
went big, it was more work than I wanted at the time.
He also met his current wife at a party I had, two people you'd never
put together, got a little buzzed, got together in his car in the
driveway for half the night after the party broke up. The gal was the
former wife of my hang gliding instructor and later ultralight
business partner.

Related to this... what are the requirements for placarding of hazardous
materials? Do you have to have a certain amount of haz mat before you need
placards? I mean... a tiny hooha full of oxygen is a haz mat but it's not
enough to need placards is it?
