The RB designs headwork is nice if you have the lower compression EC
head.

Ron Black (RB Designs) modified the head of my DE300 "for more
efficient burn and slightly more power", but mostly for better fuel
burn and hopefully, mileage.
It didn't hurt it any, but then... it ran fantastic before.
I mainly just wanted more fuel range.
It really didn't hurt it any.

john's head might not be suited for the RB Designs modification.
The '96-'98 years (and the '99 prototype, with the '98 counterbalanced
engine) heads have a spark plug hole that is off-center and at a
slight angle.
Ron said that it wasn't worth the reprogram and set-up of the cnc
machine to accommodate them, due to the low numbers of the '96-'98
heads out there.
(He sent Reggie's '98 head back without modification, but with an
apology, last month. He is a nice guy.)

toying with various ideas....
Ethanol, 25%, but it is not me, it is the government who is mixing...

Uhh, sorry, I guess this is not the answer you want, but I am waiting
for my customers to call, it is raining pretty hard, my bike is in
pieces on my garage (last tool, a tube of super glue, is on the car
trunk right now)...

How you're doing? Hope everything's fine...
rainy season = June-august??

I think I should send that bottle of pitu your way since I don't think I'll
drink it or
run maybe just it in the lawn mower.... my bike is "running" fine (kill
switch not working LOL) haven't had much riding time lately due to
projects... I have been thinking of getting a john deere gator for the duty
my head's fine (nevermind the tin foil cap)
I was thinking about adding a 1/2 teaspoon of acetone to the gas
to mod the vaporization characteristics. <3 oz. per ten gallon>
john
sputnik is bad juju
I'd even run regular. I just want to go ride.

of hauling stuff around the yard (wheelbarrow & two arms are getting tired)
the grass season is slowing down and maybe I'll have some time since I'm not
going to be 4 hours mowing every 5 days.... got a nice field of soy beans
growing... I call them beans but snooty folks call them edamame's , maybe I
should call them edamames so I can sell them to snooty sushi eating people
for big bucks

ever try 6 oz of transmission fluid per 10 gallons of gas?
seems to help my vintage engines run smoother.....
john
Stabil, around 1 oz per gal or so.
